Can the rubber gym floor rolls be installed over carpet?
This is one of our most asked rubber flooring FAQ. It is almost always better to install rubber weight room flooring over a hard surface such as concrete or wood. If the carpet is an extremely low and tight pile it may be possible to go right over it but it needs to be a hard, tight pile carpet. In most cases we recommend removing the carpet before your rubber rolls or interlocking tiles are installed.
Does this rubber flooring smell like some of the floors I have seen or should I say smelled?
This is another highly asked rubber flooring FAQ. We actually have one the lowest levels of rubber odor in the industry. Many times our virgin rubber products smell a bit more than our recycled rubber products but this odor will usually disappear in a short time. You can always seal the flooring if this is a concern but we have thousands of customers that have installed our flooring without any ongoing problem from the smell.

Where is your rubber flooring and rubber tiles made?
We are proud to say right here in the USA. Don’t be fooled by inferior imported material. Ask your supplier if the material is made in the USA or give us a call and tell us which supplier you are looking at and we will give you an honest answer regarding the suppliers manufacturing location. It is very common for suppliers to tell you their material is made in the United States when it is actually imported. There are even some suppliers that will tell you they make the material themselves when in fact they don’t and it is imported. Don’t be tricked by a fast talking salesperson. Check it out before you buy and give us a call at 800-279-1963 and we will answer your questions honestly. Not all of the questions asked are here in our rubber flooring FAQ.
